Join the Board of OPIRG Peterborough

The OPIRG Board of Directors is comprised of 7 individuals. Most often, Board Members are Trent students but faculty, community members, and former staff/interns/volunteers/researchers, as well as those with no previous OPIRG experience are also encouraged to apply.  A maximum of 3 members of the Board can be non-students. OPIRG Peterborough works as a non-hierarchical organization.

General Volunteering with OPIRG Peterborough

Volunteering with OPIRG allows you to gain skills, exercise existing skills, and meet people dedicated to social justice and environmental issues. All volunteers are offered free training in consensus decision-making and anti-oppression at least once a year.
