Please join us on April 8 for a full day of activities as Ontario Public Interest Research Group (OPIRG) celebrates its 40th anniversary.  Film screening, public exhibition, food and music performance by the renowned local band Dub Trinity are all features of this special celebration on April 8!

We start the day with our annual Free Market Giveway between from 10 am and onwards on April 8. The Free Market Giveaway is an excellent opportunity for community members to donate useful used household items (clothes, books, toys, kitchenware, etc…) or take what they need for free. Following the Giveaway we are celebrating OPIRG’s 40th anniversary and everyone is welcome!

The following day on April 9 we will be moving the Free Market upstairs. We need volunteers for this move and hope you’ll give us a hand! Lunch will be provided for dedicated volunteers!

We hope you will mark those dates on your calendar and show up on April 8 to celebrate 40 years of OPIRGs activism in Peterborough and land us a hand on April 9 as we relocate the Free Market.
