The Trinity of Fundamentals Study Group x The Indigenous Abolitionist Study Group

Join us July 15 & 29th, August 12 & 26 from 6-8 pm to read the first-ever English translation of the novel, The Trinity of Fundamentals by Wisam Rafeedie! 📖

We will learn about Rafeedie’s experiences hiding from the occupation alongside the twenty-two-year-old Kan’an’s unshakable commitment to the Palestinian cause. Rafeedie went from hiding in cupboards from the occupation to later being captured in 1991. During his confinement in the Israeli prison, he wrote about historical events, like the First Intifada and the Gulf War to a glimpse into his innermost moments of hiding in the past nine years. The novel represents Palestinian hardship, compassion, isolation, and liberation.

The symbolism of love, revolution, and life are conveyed in The Trinity of Fundamentals. It sheds light on the struggles of the Palestinians and gives an insight into those standing in solidarity with the Palestinians and resisting the Zionist regime. 🍉
